Highly motivated person required to support young volunteers 16-25 years old in volunteering opportunities including:

• H.E.L.P (Homeless Education Liaison Programme) peer education presentation delivery within school & young peoples groups i.e. scouts/guides .
• Governance within the Test Valley Foyer.
• Fundraising opportunities within Alabaré and the wider community.
• Annual residential programmes for training volunteers.

Post includes enabling clients to develop skills to pass on their knowledge on homelessness issues to other people.

Successful candidate must be able to plan, deliver and evaluate structured training programmes both individually and in group settings.

Essential skills in IT, negotiation, networking with a multi agency approach are required along with experience of maintaining a high standard of record keeping, regular report submissions, monitoring and evaluation of project working in partnership with other consortium members.

Post is 16 hours per week. Grade 6

Salary £7,315 - £8,078 per annum (£8.79 - £9.71 per hr)

Working in Andover & surrounding areas, occasional travel to Reading & Aldershot required. Own car required.

Experience of working with young people required.  CRB and reference checks will be carried out if successful.
